GDPR CANDIDATE AGREEMENT

By registering with Bauhaus Consultants Ltd, trading as Bauhaus Recruitment, creating or using a candidate account, submitting a CV or application, or asking us to provide recruitment services, you acknowledge that you have been provided with this GDPR Candidate Agreement and our Privacy Notice.
You confirm and acknowledge that:

The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, and you will notify Bauhaus of any material changes.

You have read and understood the Bauhaus Recruitment Privacy Notice, which explains how Bauhaus collects, obtains, uses, shares, retains and protects your personal information and describes your data protection rights.

You understand that Bauhaus may use your personal information to:
-
register and maintain your candidate record;
-
assess your skills, qualifications, experience, availability and suitability;
-
identify and discuss employment, contract and assignment opportunities;
-
communicate with you about current and future opportunities;
-
prepare or format your CV or candidate profile;
-
arrange applications, client submissions, interviews, checks, offers, placements and assignments;
-
administer contracts, assignments, timesheets, payments and compliance requirements;
-
maintain records of recruitment activity and introductions; and
-
comply with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

Where reasonably practicable, Bauhaus will discuss a vacancy or opportunity with you before submitting your personal information to a particular client.

You understand that Bauhaus may rely on lawful bases other than consent, as explained in the Privacy Notice, and that separate consent may not be sought for every submission.

Where reasonably necessary to provide recruitment services, identify suitable opportunities, respond to a client requirement or act on your request that Bauhaus seek work on your behalf, Bauhaus may share relevant information about you with:

existing or prospective clients;
-
end hirers or host organisations;
-
managed service providers;
-
neutral vendors;
-
recruitment partners; and
-
other organisations involved in a recruitment process.

You may contact Bauhaus to discuss or restrict the circumstances in which your details are submitted. You understand that doing so may affect Bauhaus’s ability to provide recruitment services or identify suitable opportunities.

You understand that Bauhaus may obtain relevant information about you from sources including:

job boards and CV databases;
-
LinkedIn and other professional platforms;
-
publicly available sources;
-
referrals and recommendations;
-
clients and prospective clients;
-
referees and former employers;
-
training and certification providers;
-
screening and vetting providers;
-
government or regulatory bodies; and
-
other sources described in the Privacy Notice.

You understand that Bauhaus may require evidence of your:
-
identity;
-
right to work;
-
employment or assignment history;
-
qualifications;
-
licences;
-
certifications;
-
technical skills;
-
references;
-
insurance;
-
driving entitlement;
-
security clearance; or
-
other information reasonably necessary to assess your suitability for a role or comply with legal, regulatory, contractual or client requirements.

Where required for a particular vacancy or assignment, you understand that additional checks may be necessary, including:
-
identity checks;
-
right-to-work checks;
-
reference checks;
-
qualification and certification verification;
-
employment-history checks;
-
credit or fraud-prevention checks where relevant;
-
criminal-record or DBS checks;
-
security-clearance checks;
-
health, fitness or adjustment information relevant to the role; and
-
other compliance or vetting checks required by law or by a client.

Bauhaus will provide further information or seek any additional consent where this is appropriate or legally required for a particular check.

You understand that Bauhaus may contact you by telephone, email, SMS, social media or other appropriate channels regarding:
-
recruitment services;
-
applications;
-
vacancies and assignments;
-
interviews and offers;
-
availability;
-
candidate-registration updates;
-
compliance requirements;
-
ongoing placements or assignments; and
-
opportunities that may be relevant to you.

You may update your communication preferences or opt out of marketing communications at any time.

You understand that opting out of marketing does not prevent Bauhaus from sending necessary communications concerning:

You understand that Bauhaus may retain your information in accordance with its Privacy Notice, including where retention is reasonably necessary for:
-
providing recruitment services;
-
maintaining records of introductions and previous engagements;
-
legal, regulatory, tax or contractual compliance;
-
payments, payroll and accounting;
-
complaints, disputes or investigations;
-
establishing, exercising or defending legal claims;
-
fraud prevention;
-
maintaining a record that you do not wish to be contacted; or
-
another legitimate and proportionate business purpose.

You understand that a request for deletion does not automatically require Bauhaus to erase all information where it has a continuing lawful basis or legal reason to retain some or all of it.

You will not:
-
provide false, incomplete or misleading information;
-
misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience, right-to-work status or availability;
-
submit another person’s CV or personal information without proper authority;
-
provide documents that have been altered, falsified or unlawfully obtained; or
-
use the candidate portal or website unlawfully.

You are responsible for keeping your candidate portal username, password and other login details secure.

You will notify Bauhaus promptly if you believe that:
-
your account has been accessed without permission;
-
your login details have been compromised;
-
information held about you is materially inaccurate; or
-
documents or information previously provided are no longer valid.

You understand that registering, applying for a vacancy or submitting a CV does not guarantee that:
-
Bauhaus will contact you;
-
you will be considered for a particular opportunity;
-
your details will be submitted to a client;
-
you will be interviewed;
-
you will be offered employment or an assignment; or
-
any advertised vacancy will remain available.

You understand that Bauhaus may use software and automated tools to assist staff with:
-
searching and filtering candidate records;
-
matching candidates with opportunities;
-
organising or prioritising recruitment activity;
-
extracting or summarising information;
-
identifying incomplete records; and
-
recruitment administration.

You understand that Bauhaus does not currently make significant recruitment or engagement decisions solely by automated means and that meaningful human involvement remains part of decisions about suitability, submission, employment and engagement.

You understand that you may contact Bauhaus to:
-
update or correct your information;
-
discuss or restrict client submissions;
-
change your communication preferences;
-
request access to your information;
-
request deletion or restriction where applicable;
-
object to certain processing;
-
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
-
exercise another applicable data protection right; or
-
raise a concern about how your information is used.

You understand that your rights and the circumstances in which they apply are explained more fully in the Bauhaus Recruitment Privacy Notice.
This GDPR Candidate Agreement applies from the date you register, create or use a candidate account, submit information or request recruitment services from Bauhaus.
